JLG Telehandlers Mississippi
John L. Grove decided to stop working after spending numerous years working together with his brother to be able to build their crane construction business into a global leader. John as well as his wife Cora celebrated their retirement by setting out on a cross-country trip in their R.V. After that specific journey, JLG Industries, Inc. emerged and became the global leading maker of specialized material handling equipment and mobile aerial work platforms.
John spent much of the time during the R.V. journey talking to prior business associates who the Groves were visiting on their trip. When they visited the Hoover Dam, sadly, 2 workers were accidentally electrocuted on scaffolding. During subsequent conversations, John discovered a huge untapped market for a machine which can quickly and safely hoist people into the air to be able to perform construction and maintenance work.
After John and his wife returned from the journey, John decided to take action. He and two close friends started a business and afterward bought a small metal manufacturing business within McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. During 1970, with an initial team of 20 employees, the trio built and sold the very first JLG aerial work platform. Many parts of the basic design elements of that original machinery are still being incorporated into the present product
Since John L. Grove first came back into town from his cross-country trip, the business has come a really long way. They have dramatically grown ever since their first aerial work platform first debuted on the marketplace. Even these days, JLG continues to expand into additional worldwide markets. Numerous innovative machines are designed to help customers be more productive and work safer.
JLG has remained dedicated to being the leader in the business. The company takes operator comfort into account very seriously. They strive to deliver in overall comfort and safety, as well as in performance so that the operator can be as productive as possible.
