Forklift Accidents
Forklift accidents are normally due to the careless operation of the forklift. This happens when the forklift operator is not properly trained in safety procedures. One of the biggest reasons is to avoid risk of lawsuits if someone is hurt. Secondly, accidents cut down on working time. Third, merchandise and property can be damaged during accidents. Most accidents are attributed to staff who are not trained. Employers are responsible for making sure that workers who are using the forklift are trained in safety and risks. Never let anyone on a forklift who isn't correctly trained to utilize the forklift. Your business should develop and post in a visible place all forklift safety measures.

Staff must have a positive attitude when they go through training, rather than doing it just because they are required to. You as the employer must help employees know the importance of correct training. Let them realize that they could injure or kill not only themselves, but other individuals, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to ensure that all your workers go through training seriously.
